We understand this a tough time for Australia and whilst we can’t make COVID-19 go away (we would love too!) we want to make sure your internet remains in good health!

During the COVID-19 pandemic we won’t be shaping any customers on plans with data limits.

We are aware that many Australian’s are feeling the effects of COVID-19 financially – if your income has been impacted and you need assistance with your Start invoices please contact us and we will assist with a payment plan and will also waive any late payment charges.

There are lots of great online resources to help you transition to spending more time at home. If you need a hand with your work-from-home set up or want some tips for keeping your family e-safe during COVID-19 please drop us a line and we will point you to some handy resources.

Helping connect the unconnected

As part of our response to COVID-19, Start have launched an Online Learning 25/5 Plan, offering a $0 connection to a limited number of households.

We want to level the playing field for as many unconnected Aussie households as we can.

Who is eligible for Start’s Online Learning 25/5 Plan?

  • Households who have not previously been connected to the nbn network.
  • A member of the household holds a valid government issued Healthcare Card.
  • Households with school age children.

Customers taking up this offer will also have access to a discounted modem from Start or can bring their own device.

This temporary support offer runs until 30 September 2020 – in line with the support offered by nbn.
